There is a dearth of fatherlessness in the world and in the church today. The emotional and spiritual effects of this have been nothing less than catastrophic! The following are some of the symptoms of fatherlessness. (This can be applied to both natural and spiritual fathers.)

I. There is an insecurity and/or a sense of inferiority because of neglect, lack of affirmation, or abandonment

Some men continually walk around with insecurities that negatively impact the way they relate in business, ministry, and marriage. They never fully trust their abilities and hence, they don’t always trust others around them to do the right thing towards them. There are however some other Kingdom pointers as stated below:

•  Prophecy: God planned and will use this soccer world cup to be a catalyst event.
• A prophetic word here by Andre Louw  includes the following questions
  • Do you think that the world cup coming to Africa is an accident?
  • Do you think the fact that all the eyes of the world will be turned to My beloved Africa, is a coincidence?

• There are many confirming prophetic words worldwide that the next move of God will be outside the walls of the church  - in the marketplace and that it will be the faceless nameless who will lead it.

• Are we ready to seize this opportunity, and to e.g. put a life coach in the lives of our orphans via soccer coaching. (We know how the Lord feels about fathering His orphans)
• Can we not use this opportunity and reach out to our own youth, those in the neighbourhood and even the visitors during the extra long holidays?

The only thing that was ever "stolen" from you was YOU. The enemy never took a thing from you. He didn't take your family. He didn't take your car. He didn't steal your job. If you never knew YOU "you never owned a thing." And if you never truly knew God, "you never truly knew YOU!"

Any material that is given to a "unknown or unidentified identity" is a loss waiting to happen. This biggest challenge of the soul is to rightly identify ones self.
