There is so much to learn from this experience. This is a typical city reach initiative and one cannot help to see the growing pains while the Lord uses initiatives like these to restore His cty church as God prophetically declared through the prophets. At the ICC on the 7th April, hear how you can be a part of turning the country’s biggest problem into the solution.
‘Turning scars into stars’ – leaving a legacy for future generations.
As soccer is not part of normal church life, this is a relevant question.
There are however some other Kingdom pointers as stated below:
Every Christian needs to ask some of these questions:
TUG which stands for the The Ultimate Goal aims to join hands and equip each congregation and Christian to DO something during this world cup time:
What an opportunity we have to work together!

Recently, as many of you know, my laptop was destroyed - run over by a semi. People have been curious about how it happened, but the question in my head wasn't how, but why? Why did it happen? The Lord warned me months before that there was going to be an attack against my laptop. I know, it sounds odd, but that is the truth. So, I was very careful to backup and copy everything of any importance.
However, the question "why" still harassed me for weeks after it happened and heavy sadness settled on me. I sought the Lord about it . . . Read More ... >>>

A few years ago, I had a dream in which I found myself inside the mind of a dying man. The man had been in a coma for some time; his family had been praying, but they did not know whether or not he had accepted Christ. All they were sure of is that, throughout his life, he had resisted their efforts to lead him to Christ.
In the dream, I became so acutely aware of the man's state of mind that his thoughts, feelings and struggles almost seemed my own. Although his eyes were nearly closed and his vision clouded, he could see his loved ones at his bedside. I watched as he tried to reach toward his family, but outwardly his arm never lifted. Perceiving his thoughts, I heard him speak . . . Read More ... >>>
The only thing that was ever "stolen" from you was YOU. The enemy never took a thing from you. He didn't take your family. He didn't take your car. He didn't steal your job. If you never knew YOU "you never owned a thing." And if you never truly knew God, "you never truly knew YOU!"
Any material that is given to a "unknown or unidentified identity" is a loss waiting to happen. This biggest challenge of the soul is to rightly identify ones self. Many live in this generation "unknown, unborn, unfulfilled, and unrealized!" Whenever there is an existence without the knowledge of God and His Kingdom, "you have not yet arrived!"
The Kingdom will create an Awakening that will compel the heart to seek for God, which therefore will seek for itself also. Finding God "will also find YOU!" Jesus is the Way to God "which is also the way to YOU!" When you discover YOU, and recover YOU, then YOU will finally be able to worship the Lord. The greatest form of worship is not mere singing or the raising of the hands. The greatest form of worship "is imitation!" When you discover who YOU are, . . . Read More ... >>>
There are three key transitions that all of us must make in order to realize our full created purpose. Consider each of these transitions and where you may be located in the process. Then, think about what you must believe and do in order to move into the next phase of life.
These three transitions are...
I have a dream... Do you have a
dream?
What a privilege it is to have this question and this challenge put to
you when you are 6 or 10 or 15 years old.
It is a question that makes the mind create vision and hope for the
future. On our annual Orphans and Vulnerable
Children's Camp we presented this peep into their own futures to 58 children
aged between 6 and 15. A brave policeman
stood up inside the body of a 7-year old.
A doctor who makes a difference began to grow in the mind of a 12-year
old. . . . Read More ... >>>

"And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved" (II Corinthians 12:15).
Besides prayer, no other subject has been talked about more and practiced less than the subject of loving one another. We all know we are supposed to love one another. We have heard it preached a thousand times. But there is a difference between knowing the Path and walking the Path.
I want to speak specifically to the issue of love as it relates to "ministry". That word "ministry" is a loaded word now, and we really need to question someone when they use that word so we can find out what they really mean. I think most people will agree that what passes for "ministry" these days is something very far removed from the ministry practiced in the New Testament. And I am not referring to some kind of method or technique that they practiced. The "missing ingredient" is not something so superficial as meeting in homes versus meeting in buildings. How far we have fallen to think that the secret of New Testament life is found in some way of conducting a meeting.

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. Psalm 125:1, NIV
When Bryan, our youngest son, was just a small boy, he asked his dad to put him on top of a large seven-foot-high concrete platform at the library. Eddie did so. After a few minutes, Eddie reached out his hands and said, "Jump, Bryan! Daddy will catch you." Bryan was not so sure. Eddie said again, "Jump, son. I won’t let you fall. You can trust me to catch you." Cautiously, but obediently, Bryan jumped into his daddy’s arms.
About four months later, Bryan was climbing a tree at a park. When it was time to go, Eddie reached out his arms to Bryan and quietly said, “Jump.” To Eddie’s astonishment, Bryan joyfully jumped into the arms of his loving father.
Most of the disappointment and pain we have suffered have come from misplaced trust. We have loved God and trusted people. Some of those people have violated our trust. Now we must learn to trust God and love people!1 Beyond the Veil, pgs 125-126

The world is full of problems. Some are small and some are huge. As Kay and I considered the problems facing the world today, we concluded there are five giants -- five pervasive problems that affect billions of people.
These are the ones we want to tackle, believing God gets the most glory when we attack the biggest giants. These problems are so huge that they can only be addressed with total dependence on God and with all of us -- your congregation and mine, Christians all around the world -- working together to confront them.

The ways of the kingdom are opposite to the ways of the world. The world says get a vision, think big, set goals, use techniques to build your kingdom (or church).
As individuals He wants us to act small – but together as a corporate body.
It’s the raindrop principle; an ocean is made up of billions of connected rain drops, so with the kingdom of God – you are like a rain drop so do rain drop stuff, to refresh & bring life to others!
This thought still keeps me busy and the Holy Spirit, constantly reminds me of it, the last few months. If this happens I knew there is more to it, than what meets the eye.
It is the same idea, when Uncle Angus at MMC 08, asked us to "start small", in your family, with your children. . . . Read More ... >>>
