Day 12

MMC 2010: To finish this off around 280 000 Mighty Men from over the country gather for a weekend on a farm in Greytown.

What The Young Leaders of This Next Generation Need.
I was able to spend a weekend recently with a group of 92 men of valor. Their ages ranged from about 18- 70, and they represented more than 10 nations. It was a safe environment for all to come together in a deep relational way to discuss the issues of today, the church of today, and the direction we need to be moving towards for tomorrow.
I particularly took notice of the leaders in the generation that is coming up after me. They are passionate, and they are committed to living a life for God’s glory. They are radically in love with Jesus, and just as radical about changing the impotent ways of what they perceive about today’s Christianity. They want to be a part of birthing real communities that increasingly look more like family, and less like . . . Read More ... >>>
Preamble: When you land at the New Airport from 1 May 2010, be aware that this airport was on God's heart long ago. We asked Wally for this testimony since we are aware of a prophetic word over Wally's life, that he will be used by the Lord "to change the face of Durban" This word came to pass when the Lord planted the idea in an unexpected moment and Wally took it further,by contacting intercessors to pray into this matter over the next 10 + years.
One other thought also comes to mind: This was God's idea and therefore it is ready for the World Cup Soccer in Durban. See this other related word on the soccer: Prophecy: God planned and will use this soccer world cup to be a catalyst event.
Below is Wally's testimony and we can learn how to be a marketplace minister that think city wide. We can also learn how to press into one's prophetic destiny and be mightily used by God to build a legacy in the marketplace for our grandchildren. Pastoring the prophetic, and to know when to pass the baton are vital lessons to be learned throughout this testimony:

“Hark the herald angels sing, ‘Glory to the newborn king…’” -
Many marketplace believers truly struggle with actually marketing their business. They see marketing as human manipulation. They fear it is a display of self-promotion when it may be “holier,” to rely on God to bring promotion on His own. Although it is certainly possible to drift into manipulation or self-promotion, like all two edged swords, there is a beautiful, life giving side to marketing that I hope you will embrace. I call it, “The Ministry of Marketing.”
Why we love marketing
Marketing is simply taking our message to those who need to hear it, rather than waiting for them to find us. Just as the Lord came to “seek and to save those who were lost,” so the marketer goes to seek and to “save” (solve a problem or provide pleasure) those who need our product or service. It’s called “doing business,” and it is every bit as sacred as coming to church and praying. Everything the believer does can be an act of worship, including being ourselves in the marketplace. . . . Every year we lose more pre-born babies to abortion than the combined death toll of crime and car accidents. Since 1 February 1997, over 900 000 babies have been killed in South Africa - by abortion - with tax payers money.
Legalised abortion is a national disgrace. The 1st of February 2010 will mark the 13th anniversary of the legalisation of abortion on demand in South Africa. For this reason, Christians who respect the Sanctity of Life will be observing 1 February as a day of prayer and repentance for the national sin of abortion. Pastors throughout the country will be preaching on the Sanctity of Human Life on Sanctity Life Sunday (31 January), and congregations in every province will be joining in prayers of repentance. . . . The first man on earth was a farmer. His name was Adam. Adam and his heirs were created to rule God's physical universe (Genesis 1:26–28). This work started in a garden.
Adam's specific assignment was to “work the ground” (Genesis 2:5 NIV). The Hebrew word used in this text is abad, which is also translated in other texts worship and serve. From the beginning, therefore, the idea of work was rooted in the mandate to rule God's creation and was a vehicle to serve and worship God. This is known by many as the "Creation Mandate" and gives work dignity, purpose, and significance. . . . Read More ... >>>
1. You inwardly celebrate when a colleague or fellow minister falls.
2. Your spirit of competition causes you to inwardly celebrate when other organizations or ministries in your field aren’t doing as well as you.
3. You are more concerned about your local church or organization than the good of the kingdom of God and cultural transformation.
4. You manipulate people to promote yourself and try to make things happen instead of allowing God to open doors and promote you.
5. You look for opportunities to backstab other leaders in your region or field of work.
6. You are driven to succeed to counter your insecurity, poor self-esteem and a sense of insignificance.
7. You thwart the emergence of other strong leaders in your organization. . . . Read More ... >>>

Someone refer us to this insightful prophetic word for South Africa and Africa. It was given by Andre Louw in August 2008 and already a great part came to pass since then. Uprightness
and right standing with God (moral and spiritual rectitude in every
area and relation) elevate a nation, but sin is a reproach to any
people. Proverbs 14:34
We are in a significant transition, not only in this nation but globally.
We are seeing many foundations being shaken in many different realms.
We continue hearing about judgment in this nation. What if we consider
it not judgment as much as the wages of sin at high levels? When sin
abounds in a home, it affects the whole household. When sin abounds at
a high level in a nation, it affects the whole nation. . . . Read More ... >>>

Years
ago, as a young scientist and inventor, I worked with Dr. Bob Moog and
together we gave the music world the first performance keyboards called
Moog synthesizers. I learned to work with electrons and photons - tiny
elements that are so small they can't be seen! Yet these invisible
elements cause all electronic devices to work. This project caused me
to ask the question, "Is there more to our universe than what I can
perceive through my senses?"
My search to learn more about physical reality and how it works led me to discover that quantum physics identifies a large part of our universe to be non-physical. I began to realize that the universe is greater than science has discovered, or can explain. Through quantum physics and spiritual revelation, the Holy Spirit confirmed keys to understanding physical reality. As you read this article, allow the Holy Spirit to let you hear more than I say.
There is a Non-Physical Reality . . . Read More ... >>>
God
has not only called us as His redeemed people to be a "royal
priesthood" (I Peter 2:9), functioning as priests to the world, but He
has also called us to be His prophetic voice. We are to be His oracle
("mouthpiece") to the world system. . . . Read More ... >>>

In this crucial hour when not only Americans but all peoples of all nations collectively are faced with the catastrophic effects of the most expansive economic collapse in the annals of human history, it is calming, comforting, and cheering to know that the Sovereign and Almighty God has a plan, has eternally known what the plan is, and that His plan-for individual believers and His true Body alike-is not for harm, calamity, disaster, or destruction, but welfare, good, prosperity, peace, and a hope-filled future.

What has been on my heart is the glory of the Lord, that we could have more of His presence and more of Him in our midst. 2 Corinthians 4 tells us that we are earthenware vessels but the treasure, the glory inside of us--is the Lord!|
