In our culture we glorify results and performance. The measure of our success is often the level of positive response received, monies raised, and number of people we gather.
In this article I am examining if the above view lines up with biblical standards since, if the measure of success stated above is correct, then many of the great biblical and historic heroes of the faith were really miserable failures! . . . Read More ... >>>

Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD. — Psalm 27:14, NASB No matter what God has called us to do, one of the most difficult things we will face is the in-between time. In the beginning, he prepares our hearts for the calling. He gives us a glimpse of His plans for us, and it births great hope within us. The difficulty is that there is always a time lag between the initial preparation and the outcome. The beginning often carries a great emotional surge. We know what God said, and we know we will see it happen, no matter what the enemy may throw at us in the process. Our faith is as tall as the mountains. We feel invincible in God’s promise. We take the initial steps and are excited to see the fruit of our labors. But then comes the waiting. . . . Read More ... >>>

Prophetic Visit to Durban
As God began to speak to His servant, Apostle Joy Noble concerning the leadership of KwaZulu Natal, a prophetic visit was made to Durban City.
Prophetic duties assigned to her were carried out.
- God asked her to speak to the Leadership of the body of Christ in KwaZulu Natal and the entire leadership of the nation.
- The eastern part of the nation has to prepare to give birth to the “Light of Righteousness” which will illuminate the whole city of Durban, then the Nation of South Africa plus the whole world.
The main prophetic action was on Saturday 18 September 2010 ( The day of Atonement on God’s calendar)

A great transformation in how we do church has been under way for the last decade or so. It seems that as a culture changes, God leads His people into new wineskins, if they are willing to go. The church that doesn't have fresh wineskins soon looses the wine! Todays generation places high value on relationship and personal empowerment. The saints are looking for the ministry God has for them, and the centralized structures of the local church have not served this well. In fact, God means for every believer to be a minister and so He is moving ministry into the hands of every believer. A good way to understand the transition is to think of moving from a "Mainframe Computer" to a "Computer Network". . . . Read More ... >>>

This message is for Spiritual Fathers, Mothers and Kingdom Leaders: Pour your lives into this next generation and prophetically call them into their destiny in Christ Jesus!
This Generation is Like Gideon and Barak
The Holy Spirit has been speaking to me about this awesome younger generation as of late and I am very excited about what He showed me concerning this next generation! The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said this generation is like Gideon and Barak! Gideon and Barak both didn't believe that they were chosen by God to do awesome and mighty things. Even on the outward appearance others didn't see their greatness. . . . Read More ... >>>

Mirjam Uppelschoten 20 August 2010
During a prayer meeting the Lord impressed upon our hearts to pray for South Africa. Here is what He showed us
While we were praying I saw angels in the room with us, and I saw they had their hands on our heads, they were praying for us and appeared to be imparting something. The angel that was praying for me had his index finger on my head and he kept saying
The scroll
So I asked the angel, what scroll? He took me with him, and while we were travelling he said:
For Africa
I went with the angel, up, before the throne of Father. I looked and saw Father busy writing on a scroll. The scroll was very big, and half way rolled out over the continent of Africa. . . . Read More ... >>>

I want to put a challenge before you – are you ready? Okay, here we go! Pull out your Strong’s Concordance and look up the term ‘full time ministry’. I’m willing to award a prize to the one who finds the most references. As a matter of fact, I’ll gladly give an expensive gift to anyone who can produce one instance where that exact terminology is used anywhere in the original languages!
Let me save you some time. There is not one person in the entire Bible that is referred to as being in full time ministry! Isn’t it amazing how frequently we hear the phrase ‘full-time ministry’ and it’s not even found once in the Word of God? Perhaps we need to ask the Lord for a more Biblical paradigm. . . . This is an excellent revelation given to Mirjam to help eagles understand what is going on in the spiritual realm. Eagles, who are the prophets, are called to fly into the third heaven where God dwells, in order to see and hear what Jesus and Father are saying and doing. They are then called to pray, prophesy and declare on earth what He has shown them in the third heaven.
One of the one main problems for eagles right now is that they are flying too low. If an eagle does not fly high enough, then their vision will be of the second heaven realm - satans plans or what I call, second heaven revelation. Once they land they tend to proclaim the words and plans of the enemy instead of the word of the Lord.
From this word given to Mirjam, it is easy to see why so few eagles are able to keep a clear prophetic perspective for South Africa and the nations right now. There is so much darkness being released from the second heaven that it covers the nations like a thick blanket. Isaiah 60:2a “For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people” . . . Read More ... >>>

This coming November my wife and I will celebrate 30 years of full-time ministry. In our day we have seen many leaders lose their zeal for God and leave the ministry. Often this occurs because they did not take adequate time to seek the Lord on a daily basis for self-renewal. Other reasons include not having a balanced life that incorporates things that advance physical and emotional health (instead of just focusing on work and ministry). I also have been guilty of not taking enough time off, having never taken more than 10 days straight for vacation in over 30 years of hard, grueling ministry (with 95% of my vacations being only 5-7 days long). Up until the past year I never took one full day off per week to rest my mind. At the age of 52 I am now being forced to change my patterns because I have exhausted much of my mental energy and can no longer cheat. (The main reason I have lasted this long without regular time off is because I keep a strict diet, exercise regularly, and spend time seeking God every morning.) . . . Read More ... >>>

I am very thankful for those pioneers of the Kingdom of God, going all the way back to Abraham, who've braved the unknown and the scorn of others to press forward in their obedience to God's call and leading. We owe everything we are and have to the spiritual and natural pioneers who've faced misunderstanding and death at almost every turn to pave the way for those of us in this day to settle and enjoy the blessings and benefits, both from the spiritual and natural dimensions.
There are many pioneers still moving forward into realms yet unreached for no other reason than they heard the voice of Abba call them, and they've left all to pursue Him out of love and simple obedience. This is a lonely, misunderstood and often dangerous place to be, fraught with spiritual, mental, emotional, financial and relational pressures and warfare that we may not be aware of. I have a message for those pioneers that answered the call of God to press into the unknown: you are NOT a failure. . . . Read More ... >>>

I had not been feeling well, and had laid down to rest, when I began to enter into a prophetic experience. I saw myself standing in front of a very bright door. I went through into the light and found myself standing in a vast chamber of light. It was so bright that I could not see much of anything at first. As my eyes adjusted, I saw that I was indeed in a large chamber but it looked more like a huge library.
"Yes", said an angel that was watching me. "You are in the Hall of Destinies. You have been here before, but not in this section," He said. I looked around and as far as I could see, there was row upon row of shelves and books. The shelves were very old but they looked as though they have stood there since time began. I ran my hand over the smooth shelf and felt the very heartbeat of God within its very grains. I withdrew my hand in surprise, and the angel said simply, "All life flows through heaven. You know this. But the greatest of joy to the Father is when we activate that life and live it on earth." . . . Read More ... >>>

"Pu t on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another...even as Christ forgave you." (Colossians 3:12-13)
Having a home filled with peace and joy and tender mercies is a like a piece of heaven on earth. We all have experienced moments of this, or hopefully will soon experience the peace of God in our lives and homes. Sometimes it is so difficult to bring the piece of heaven to those that are closest in proximity to one another. There are financial pressures and time pressures and the next thing you know, not only is heavenly bliss so far away, but harsh attitudes and words now resemble a place tremendously south of heavenly borders.

It is one of the paradoxes of God’s nature: He is constant, and yet He works seasonally. Our humanity has trouble dealing with such a concept. Everything the eternal God does is seasonal. In the natural, He created four seasons to guide the earth through times of sowing, reaping, working, and rest; the same holds true in the spiritual realm. But for some reason, most churches strive desperately to find a perfect balance. They want to be consistent and balance teaching and worship, the Word and the Spirit. God, however, rejects that notion of balance. His Spirit ebbs and flows in our lives. There are times when we flow in the Word of God, and times when we flow in the Spirit. Our job is to see what God is doing and react to Him in it. . . . Read More ... >>>

Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.”
Only the eternal, uncreated, omnipotent and omniscient God has the capacity and willingness to declare a thing to be what it is years before it has even come into being. The Seed is God’s inheritance in the form of the prophetic perfect. God speaks of the future as if it were already in the present and declares something complete because it is anchored in the certainty of God’s intention to bring it to fulfillment. . . . What The Young Leaders of This Next Generation Need. I was able to spend a weekend recently with a group of 92 men of valor. Their ages ranged from about 18- 70, and they represented more than 10 nations. It was a safe environment for all to come together in a deep relational way to discuss the issues of today, the church of today, and the direction we need to be moving towards for tomorrow. I particularly took notice of the leaders in the generation that is coming up after me. They are passionate, and they are committed to living a life for God’s glory. They are radically in love with Jesus, and just as radical about changing the impotent ways of what they perceive about today’s Christianity. They want to be a part of birthing real communities that increasingly look more like family, and less like . . . Read More ... >>>
