Healing the Land: Repenting of Racism by James Goll

May new beginnings emerge out of the ashes of racism. Lord, lead us boldly into reconciliation and unity with all Believers, so that we may, as Your Bride, be prepared for Your coming – pure and spotless, holy and innocent, and undivided in our love. May it ever be so!

Kwasiza BantuPeet Simonis vertel:
Tugela Ferry is ‘n klein swart dorpie so ‘n uur se ry van Greytown af – binneland toe.

. . . Read More ... >>>

Lessons learned, Testimony and final Report:The Ultimate Goal (TUG) Msunduzi (Pietrmaritzburg) regarding the various outreaches during the Soccer World Cup 2010.

Lessons learnedJaco shared this detailed document with us on request.

There is so much to learn from this experience. This is a typical city reach initiative and one cannot help to see the growing pains while the Lord uses initiatives like these to restore His cty church as God prophetically declared through the prophets.

Enjoy &

Ek gaan Mam help pak. Haar huis is verkoop, Hallejula ! Dus gaan ek so bietjie aanwakker.

Ek maak my boksie Smarties en blikkie Ystee oop . . . Read More ... >>>

Now THAT's a Community Church

Now THAT is a Community ChurchExtract: "If we become a church of brick and mortar, we may cease to be a church of flesh and blood.”

Our motive should not be to fill these seats, but to empty these seats,” Mercer has often stated to a profoundly unified and supportive congregation. But he admits it has taken a transformational journey to embrace a mindset that would rather see local families with roofs over their heads and food on the table rather than the church having a better sound system.

I think it is important to look at the following story, not as a model, but as an encouragement towards obedience from a community of God's people. We are watching God do many things through His people and there is a divine shift going on that will impact all systems and methods. . . . Read More ... >>>

Growing Together "As One"

Growing Together "As One""And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." (Ephesians 4:11-13)

I want to talk on unity here. This scripture says "Till we all come in the unity of the faith". If we're ever going to truly advance the kingdom of God, if we're ever going to transform our communities, cities and nations for Christ, we're going to have to grow up together "as one" Body of Christ.

It is not enough for some of us to come into relationship and further revelation in Jesus and not be concerned with the needed contribution of our brothers and sisters in the Lord. It has never and will never work that way. We're a part of each other. The Bible calls us to be one body...the Body of our Lord Jesus Christ. . . . Read More ... >>>

Foundations in Community Development School (End date unsure yet)

From 14 September 2009, YWAM Durban presents the Foundations in community Development School, with the specific focus on equipping volunteers working in developing communities to influence and transform all domains of society.  Grace Goeda, founder and director of Dignity Centre, will lead the school, which is a ministry of YWAM Durban that focuses on mercy, training and empowering different groups in the community.  Although this is a second level school of YWAM, it is our desire to open it up to anybody who is interested in community development and currently working in this area even if they have not yet done the entrance school of YWAM, the Discipleship Training School. . . . Our orphans could dream again, on their special camp before Christmas

OVC Camp 1-4 December 2008I have a dream...  Do you have a dream?  What a privilege it is to have this question and this challenge put to you when you are 6 or 10 or 15 years old.  It is a question that makes the mind create vision and hope for the future.  On our annual Orphans and Vulnerable Children's Camp we presented this peep into their own futures to 58 children aged between 6 and 15.  A brave policeman stood up inside the body of a 7-year old.  A doctor who makes a difference began to grow in the mind of a 12-year old. . . . A "Concept map" of how the Bible is becoming more of a "Science" manual, with this year's new Scientific discoveries

Bible as my "Scientific" ManualA month ago, I was challenged in my Scientific (and Faith) life as never before. Yes that the Bible can simply be my "science" manual. (Like Uncle Angus' "agricultural" manual)

As a scientist, this was one of the "curveballs" that I had to face and WHAT a "mind renewing" and enjoyable journey ... Yes to marry Science and the Bible in new ways.

It was a Jewish Inventor of more than 700 patents that raised this curtain for me.  Let's journey through this together to discover and learn these concepts.

Marketplace - The New Venue for Kingdom Expansion

Business = Kingdom ExpansionLove is the greatest mystery in the world. There is no other force or power in the world as great as love. Love will cause us to give up our very lives. Only after love motivates us to die to our self-focused life, can we know resurrection life. Just as Jesus gave up His life for others and was resurrected to a far greater life, we will experience a far greater life now on earth as love motivates us to selflessly serve. The Babylonian-style world cannot comprehend the value of the love of God. It is a mystery to the people of Babylon.

The love of God will cause us to lay down our lives for our brothers. We will seek to provide for our brothers' needs. Jesus' love coming forth in us will cause us to serve one another. We become humble servants and not proud rulers. We keep His commandments to love God and love one another.

The desire to serve stemming from love is the foundation of kingdom enterprise. We serve Jesus as we serve mankind by providing for peoples' needs. . . . Read More ... >>>

Disciple Nations, Not Churches

Too many Christians and Christian leaders spend their energy, creativity and precious time promoting churches instead of the kingdom. They work for the success of their church or perhaps for a group of churches in their city, or they work for their ministry or denomination.

They believe that by building churches and ministries they are building the kingdom. They think church and kingdom are practically synonymous. This isolation of the church from the world has led to ineffectiveness and failure to carry out the Great Commission.

The church is not the kingdom. Jesus said: "Nor will people say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17:21, NKJV). It's not confined to temples and churches. No church can contain or control the kingdom of God. The kingdom is meant to inhabit the entire earth, not just your church sanctuary. . . . Facing the world's five evil giants!

Facin 5 Giants together to bring peaceBy Rick and Kay Warren

The world is full of problems. Some are small and some are huge. As Kay and I considered the problems facing the world today, we concluded there are five giants -- five pervasive problems that affect billions of people.

These are the ones we want to tackle, believing God gets the most glory when we attack the biggest giants. These problems are so huge that they can only be addressed with total dependence on God and with all of us -- your congregation and mine, Christians all around the world -- working together to confront them.
