A great transformation in how we do church has been under way for the last decade or so. It seems that as a culture changes, God leads His people into new wineskins, if they are willing to go. The church that doesn't have fresh wineskins soon looses the wine! Todays generation places high value on relationship and personal empowerment. It started with the biggest ever Banquet held in Durban. Yes 4000 seated guests while orphans were the guests of honour. Wednesday 7th April 2010 will always be a landmark date in our city, as government, business and churches came together for the biggest banquet ever held at the ICC. I received this testimony from a good friend of mine who happened to be the Head Paramedic at Mighty Men 09. Hans also was the paramedic on scene when Angus collapsed. It just confirms the power of God and His heart to heal. In addition to that – being on ones knees amongst 200 000 men praying for a healing is an experience to behold – and then feeling the power of God move in that.

From 8h00 at the ABSA stadium we celebrated the present "Mighty Men" and "Mighty Women" who are already serving and DOING God's work as HE called each one in their different roles in Building God's Kingdom. Yes "Together-as-One" they exhibit, network and learn from each other and celebrate what GOD is doing through other faithful servants and their ministries.
