We want to introduce to you a movement of 40 days next year in South Africa called Fire Trails.  For 40 days in March/April South Africa will unite and take hands in prayer and go on trails through the land from town to town praying/ministering/calling the Bride of Christ to unite. You can be part of this in any way you choice, either by prayer support, financial support, attending these events, arranging your own event, going on a trail etc. etc

FIRE TRAILS  is a national prayer initiative. The FIRE TRAILS initiative was born to unite National Ministries, Movements and Churches in South Africa for a period of 40 days (6 March – 16 April 2011), to support and serve local communities towards sustainable and biblical transformation.

Tugela Ferry is ‘n klein swart dorpie so ‘n uur se ry van Greytown af – binneland toe. As jy van daar af stroomop die ruwwe bergland intrek, kom jy op plekke waar selfs die polisie dit vanmelewe nie graag gewaag het nie. Dit was n “veilige” hawe vir moordenaars en ander misdadigers van die ergste graad, word vertel.

‘n Week of wat gelede het ek oor die plek gevlieg met “kanarie”, ‘n piepklein geel vliegtuigie van die sendelinge. Ons was soms so laag oor die rivier dat ek gevoel het ek kan my hand uitsteek en water skep.

Vir dertig jaar het my vriend Erlo Stegan gebid dat die Here ‘n pad sal gee in die wildernis – ‘n plekkie vir ‘n sendingstasie hier in diep ontoegangklike Zoeloeland oorkant die Tugela.

There is so much to learn from this experience. This is a typical city reach initiative and one cannot help to see the growing pains while the Lord uses initiatives like these to restore His cty church as God prophetically declared through the prophets.

I was standing in a beautiful garden when the Lord approached me. I saw that He held a sword and a scroll in his hands. "Come, I will show you things I am about to do in the church." I followed Him along a path in the garden.
There was beautiful music and praise throughout the garden. "This is the place of rest in Me. I desire My people to come and experience My rest. For a long time My people have fought the enemy in the flesh with human wisdom
and understanding. You cannot fight the enemy with human understanding, you can only destroy His works by the power of the Spirit in My Name." The peace in the garden surpassed a person's understanding. It seemed to lift you
above every human imaginations and desire. "In this place of rest, you will find the Sword and the Wisdom needed to overcome the plans and strategies of the enemy." I then understood the purpose of the sword and the scroll which the Lord was carrying.

We came to a place where the Lord showed me a spiritual battle. I could see how believers where fighting against the hosts of darkness. They were proclaiming the Word of the Lord, together with the Name and Blood of Christ. I saw how the hosts of wickedness were afraid of these spiritual attacks. Each time a prayer was prayed in the Name of Jesus, light would be released in the direction of the enemy and it would scramble around in fear.
But strangely it did not destroy the enemy. Neither did it have a lasting destructive effect on the demonic forces. It simply upset the enemy's camp, causing disorganisation and fear. I then turned to the Lord for wisdom.

"When fighting against the enemy through human wisdom and understanding, you will see the enemy simply regrouping for a new attack, as soon as the prayer has stopped. I want to put a challenge before you – are you ready? Okay, here we go! Pull out your Strong’s Concordance and look up the term ‘full time ministry’. I’m willing to award a prize to the one who finds the most references. As a matter of fact, I’ll gladly give an expensive gift to anyone who can produce one instance where that exact terminology is used anywhere in the original languages!

Let me save you some time. There is not one person in the entire Bible that is referred to as being in full time ministry! Isn’t it amazing how frequently we hear the phrase ‘full-time ministry’ and it’s not even found once in the Word of God? Perhaps we need to ask the Lord for a more Biblical paradigm. . . .
