Listen Up: The Holy Spirit Has Something to Say! 10 Practical Tools to Help Your Hearing: by James Goll

Hearing Gods Voice BETTERTherefore every one who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and burst against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock.
—Matthew 7:24-25

Let's be real pragmatic at this point as we investigate some practical tools to aid us in our journey of leaning our ear His way.

Ten Effective Tools for the Trade

Success Is Not a Random Act of God

Sucess is simply a series of right decisionsContrary to popular belief, success is not a product of chance. It is not the result of random selection or of a pre-determined function of fate. Success is written into the spiritual DNA by God for all mankind, no matter who they are, what financial or social environment they were born into, or what an individual may believe about himself. God has hardwired us to be successful. Failure does not exist in the plan of our Lord. Just as there is no failure in the hopes and dreams of parents toward their children, . . . Read More ... >>>

24-7 PRAYER CHANGES VIOLENT TOWNSHIPS IN SOUTH AFRICA

Crime drop when we Pray- testimonySource: Joel News Service

In the Summer of 2004, with the help of some sponsors, evangelist Peter Sekhonyane put up a 300-seater tent to facilitate a 24-hour prayer watch in one of the 20 extensions and outer villages of Orange Farm. For three weeks he intensively trained Christians of all churches on prayer and the principles of 24-hour prayer. After three weeks, he decided to move the tent to the next extension, to repeat the process there. In October 2004 seven of these 24/7 prayer watches were up and running at an average of 15 hours per day. Then they combined efforts to launch a week of real 24-hour prayer.

At the end of the week of combined prayer Peter went to the police service station to ask how it went crime-wise during that week. According to their statistics something strange happened: in seven of the 20 extensions there was nearly no crime - exactly the seven in which 24-7 prayer was going on!

Something special then started to happen. People from townships from across the country started to ask for help. . . . Read More ... >>>

Worshiping At The Altar Of Success

What is the Pitfalls of your idea of SUCCESS in your Church?Though you may find it hard to believe, there is an addiction more subtle and more powerful than either drugs or pornography. It's older than prostitution, more prevalent than alcohol, more addictive than cocaine. It doesn't discriminate between male and female, black or white, young or old, rich or poor. Its strength is greater than all other addictions combined. It's as rampant in the Church as it is in the world. It leaves the body unscathed but destroys the soul. The vast majority of people addicted have little if any understanding of its power or perils.

The Great Kingdom Disappearing Act!

Where is the Kingdom? Something has happened to the Kingdom. It seems to have mysteriously disappeared over the past decades, maybe centuries. The name remains as something that we throw around in our religious phraseology, but few today understand it or have ever seen its glory, its supernatural transformational power.

What happened to it? When did we begin overlooking the 130 times the Gospels mention Jesus' teaching, proclaiming, announcing, and inviting us into His Kingdom? What happened to the Jesus who declared, "I must preach the good news of the Kingdom of God to the other towns also because that is why I was sent?" When will we again hear the message of Jesus that compassionately, lovingly declared, "Do not be afraid little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the Kingdom?" Not just any kingdom but the Kingdom of His Father, . . . Read More ... >>>

"And the Lord God said: 'It is not good that man should be alone...'

Extract from this article by Jane Hansen: The question is not whether such staggering women abuse statistics exists. The question is why?

I offer a new paradigm from the oldest Biblical text: Genesis. God created man in His image. From man's side, He made woman. In Genesis 1:28, He blessed them and told them both to be fruitful, multiply, subdue the earth and take dominion over it. Dominion was to be accomplished by male and female working together.

Genesis 2:18 says: "And the Lord God said: 'It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make a help meet for him.'" The Hebrew word translated "alone" means "separation." Man was not merely lonely; his "separation" was of a spiritual nature. He had a leaning toward isolation, independence and separation from God.

God's solution was to fashion a "help" for him that he immediately recognized as "bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh." She would provide the "help" which would "surround, protect, aid, succor" him, thus bringing man into a relationship with her and ultimately, fellowship with God.

Women are abused in today's world because of the enmity between women and satan. Satan, understanding woman's intended purpose, tried to gain the upper hand by turning her from the strength of her role.

"The Clash of Kingdoms!" - - Competition versus Cooperation & Collaboration

Clash of KingdomsINTRODUCTION
From God's view, there are only two kingdoms. In one, you follow Him and obey His will and ways. In the other there is only worship of self, which is always in competition against God's ways, which are selfless. In this season we need to align ourselves to the culture of His Kingdom and not make the mistake of thinking that western "Christian" culture and Kingdom culture are necessarily the same! . . . Preach The Kingdom

Cor 1:21: For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.

The kingdom of heaven on earth begins with what men think and believe. Belief systems develop from what people hear and see. Speaking and demonstrating the gospel of the kingdom by the power of the Holy Spirit changes what people think and believe. The vast resources of the kingdom of God from heaven on earth will not be experienced by those who have not heard and do not believe.

Except for an extremely desperate situation, one will only use those resources that one believes are potent and available. One will not use resources that one does not know are available, or that one does not believe are potent.

Centuries of preaching something other than the gospel of the kingdom of God has formed limitations in people's hearts. The ability to access the power and potential of Christ within man to change the world has been greatly limited. The great reformation period in the fifteenth to the seventeenth centuries began a massive reprogramming from the age of severe darkness to increased light of God. That reprogramming continues today, reaching into the greater and higher light of the message of the kingdom of God. Sons of God are preaching, teaching and demonstrating in power, the message of the gospel of the kingdom. By the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom, people are progressively discovering self imposed limitations and breaking through them to greater revelation of the power of God available to them.

Jesus preached and demonstrated the kingdom of God.

Mat 4:23: And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

Paul preached the kingdom of God till the end of his life on earth.

Acts 20:25: "And indeed, now I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more.

Acts 28:30-31: Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him.

The word of the gospel of the kingdom is implanted in the hearts of people by preaching with demonstrations of power by the Holy Spirit. God confirms the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom with miracles. Hearing the truth of the gospel of the kingdom and seeing its power demonstrated causes people to believe.

1 Cor 4:20: For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.

1 Th 1:5: For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance,

Preach the kingdom as you go.

Preaching the kingdom does not necessarily mean speaking from a pulpit or platform. In whatever opportunity, large or small, that God sets before you, preach and teach the kingdom. As you go about your life in whatever activity you are engaged, allow the Holy Spirit to guide you to preach and teach the kingdom in power. Demonstrate the kingdom lifestyle before your children, peers, and anyone else God places in your life or gives you an encounter with.

Mat 10:7-8: "And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

The word of the kingdom can set people free from restraints.

The negative limiting words of past powerless teachings and experiences have imprisoned the souls of many Christians. Limiting negative words or experiences were like bad seed sown into our hearts. The seeds grew into prison bars of unbelief. We became restrained and limited on all sides. It was like being in an invisible enclosure. We couldn't straighten up and stand tall because our head would hit the ceiling of the enclosure. We couldn't move in this direction or that because we would bump into the wall. This crippled our ability to function in the spiritual realm. It damaged our ability to believe and use the great potential of spiritual power to rule and reign in accordance with the will of the Father.

Hearing the message of the gospel of the kingdom and seeing it demonstrated in power by the Holy Spirit sets us free from restraints to begin to flow the living water of the Kingdom message to the thirsty people of the world.

We must hear the word of the kingdom and replace the restraining religious doctrines of the past with kingdom truth. Left in place, our old mental programming would continue to restrain us from presenting the powerful love and the grace of Christ to the world around us. We must renew our minds to what Jesus says about us and the kingdom of God on earth. We must begin to flow in the spiritual power of the living God by the anointing of the Anointed One, Christ Jesus. We must not listen to our old mental programming, and allow only a trickle of the rivers of living water to flow from our inner being. We must hear the Word of the kingdom and allow unrestrained rivers of living water to flow to the dry and thirsty land around us.

John 7:38-39a: "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."

But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive.

Now is the time! The time is now! God is abundantly flowing His grace, His love, His power, to and through His people. The Word of the kingdom, the gospel of the kingdom of God is coming forth now on our small planet.

The kingdom of God is not just about church. The kingdom of God from heaven encompasses all of life. The powerful principles and anointing of Christ are the foundation and power for real godly success in every area of living. No business will succeed like a Christ directed and empowered business. No teacher will teach children reading, writing, and arithmetic better than one anointed of Christ. Every job, work, or service will be performed better by the Christ directed and empowered people of God.

Will we continue to be just a trickle in a dried up river bed? A river bed that should be flowing full of the crystal-clear, life-giving, cleansing water from the throne of God through the Anointed One, Christ within us?

Rev 22:1: And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Do we dare stand before God and tell Him how bad His world is; tell Him how dry and barren the world and its people are; while we are the only thing limiting the flow of rivers of living water? Do we dare to continue our “trickle down” spiritual living of the past?

Thank God for those who are now and have been in the past flowing rivers of living waters and are heartily serving God, in ministry, in business, in education, and every area of the kingdom of God. If you are one of those and you know that your river is flowing full, please pray for the many “trickle down” servants.
Minds are renewed by the engrafted word of the gospel of the kingdom.

Renewing the mind is a spiritual work brought about by the decision processes of the mind. We must make natural decisions with the natural mind to focus upon things of the Spirit of God and His Word, and to eliminate inputs which are of another spirit. Spiritual discernment must be exercised to recognize what is of the Spirit of God and what is of religion, the world, or spirits of darkness.

Heb 5:14:  But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Rom 12:2:  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Eph 4:23:  and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

Col 3:10-11:  and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.

The positive message of the gospel of the kingdom must be planted in the heart. One must control what one sees and hears, which will affect what one thinks, feels and believes. Focusing upon the vast unlimited potential of the kingdom of God with all its provisions, power, victory, glory, beauty, peace, and joy, will lead to the reality of the kingdom of God in you, on earth. As the kingdom spreads like leaven in bread dough, and multitudes focus upon Christ and His kingdom, and begin to seek the Lord with their whole hearts the kingdom is established in our world.

Mat 13:33:  Another parable He spoke to them: "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.

Mark 9:23:  Jesus said to him, "If you can believe,
all things are possible to him who believes."

Prov 23:7:
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.

Mark 11:23-24:  "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Phil 4:4-8:  Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy; meditate on these things.
