TRANSFORMING STORIES INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN FILM FESTIVAL TO BE HELD IN SOUTH AFRICA

Transforming Stories International Christian Film Festival (TSICFF) is a festival showcasing powerful, inspiring, faith affirming, evangelistic, transforming stories to the world and the Body of Christ. South Africa, October 2010.

 

The power of media is evident in this day and age, and movies have been a huge part of shaping the culture as we know it. Behind TSICFF is a greater mission – to transform cultures through storytelling. No longer will we as followers of Christ allow our world to be poisoned with profanity by media elites. Instead, we are encouraging revolutionaries out there to produce stories which can transform our culture into one that will be in line with The Kingdom of God, one of Justice, Peace, Righteousness and Love. And to accomplish this mission, we are willing to identify and reward talent that is of the highest standards.

 

What makes this festival so unique is firstly that it is the first International Christian Film Festival to be held in South Africa and secondly, through the partnership and association in 2010 with the Lausanne Movement- Cape Town 2010, over 4500 International Christian leaders from over 200 regions in the world will be exposed to the winning films. This exposure gives the winning films a truly global reach and aims to inspire these Christian leaders to make use of films to evangelize, teach & transform their communities for the good. Each of these 200 world regions have been encouraged to submit films to the 2010 festival as well as future festivals. TSICFF is not only a film festival, its part of a global revolution encouraging film makers to produce films that will transform communities for the good!

IT IS NORMAL FOR A MINISTRY OF THE GOSPLE TO BE TOUCHED BY THE SUFFERING, NEEDS AND PROBLEMS OF THE PEOPLE WHOM HE IS SENT.
 
 AS A MATTEROF FACT, IT IS YOUR COMPASSION TOWORDS MEN THAT PROVOKES THE FLOW OF GODS POWER THROUGH YOU TO THEM (Mark 8:1-2) YOU MUST HAVE A HART FOR THE PEOPLE; TO SEE THEM DELIVERD FROM POVERTY, FREE FROM DESEASES AND SATANIC OPPRESSIONS FROM UNEMPLOYMENT AND ALL EVILL.

BUT IF YOU MUST MAKE IMPACT IN MINISTRY AND EFFECTIVELY TOUCH LIVES, YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THE GREATEST NEED OF OF MAN.

                        WHAT IS MAN GREATEST NEEDS?

UNTIL YOU ARE ABLE TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION, YOU MAY CONTINUE TO PASTOR A DISSATISFIED CONGREGATION DESPITE ALL YOUR EFORT.

THE TRUTH IS, MANS NEED ARE DIVERSE AND ENORMOUS BUT HIS GREATEST NEED IS THE WORD OF GOD. JESUS SAID TO MATTER , ;THOU AT CAREFUL AND TROUBLED ABOUT MANY OTHERS: BUT ONE THING IS NEEDFUL (Luke 10: 41-42) THE NEEDS OF LIFE ARE MANY BUT ONLY ONE THING IS NEEDFUL TO SETTLE OTHER NEEDS, SO, NO MATTER THE PROGRAM YOU PUT IN PLACE TO MEET THE PHISICAL, MATERIAL AND FINANCIAL NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE, UNTIL THEIR NEED FOR THE WORD IS MET, THEY REMAIN IN NEED.

IN THE FACE OF SO MANY OTHER NEEDS THAT IS WAITING TO BE MET, MARY, THE SISTER OF MATTER, MADE A CHOICE TO SIT AT THE FEET OF JESUS WHERE HER WORD NEEDS COULD BE MET, AND JESUS  SAID MARY HATH CHOOSEN THAT GOOD PART WHICH SHALL NOT BE TAKEN AWAY FROM HER. MANS EMPTINESS REMAINS UNTIL HE BECOMES FULL OF GODS WORD.

IF YOU WILL KEEP ATTENDING TO THE WORD NEED OF THE PEOPLE, THE WORD WILL ATTEND TO ALL THEIR NEEDS, JESUS SAID TO MARTTER, THOU AT CAREFUL AND TROUBLE ABOUT MANY THINGS ... (Luke 10: 41) THE PURSUIT OF THE NEEDS OF LIFE LEADS TO TROUBLE, ONLY THOSE WHO ARE WORD-FULL WILL NOT BE CARE-FUL, SO, IF YOU WANT TO SEE A CARE-FREE AND TROUBLE-FREE CONGREGATION, FEED THEM WITH THE WORD, POINT THEM TO BE WORD-FULL IS TO BE GOD-FULL BECAUSE IN THE BEGINING WAS THE WORD AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD, AND THE WORD WAS GOD (John 1: 1) YOU CAN`T  BE GOD-FULL AND STILL BE NEED-FULL BECAUSE GOD IS THE  `MEETER` OF ALL OF MANS NEED S

SO, NOMATTER YOUR CALLING, MAKE A CHOICE FOR THE WORD, GET DOWN TO THE WORD, STAY WITH THE WORD; THERE IS NO GIFT OF THE WORD, YOU MUST CONSCIOUSLY MAKE A CHOICE FOR THE WORD.

AND LASTLY MINISTER THE WORD-JESUS NEVER SAID, VISIT MY SHEEP`` HE SAID FEED MY SHEEP . `` WHEN THE SHEEP ARE WORD-FED, THERE WILL MOST LIKELY, BE NO NEED FOR VISITATION, EXPECIALY FOR NEGATIVE ISSUES. LET US MEET THE WORD NEED, IN ORDER TO ERADIEATE ALL OTHER NEEDS.

I AM AN EVANGELIST, HELPING IN RELECTING TO PEOPLE THROUGH INTERNAT MINISTRATION ALL ROUND THE WORLD ACCORDING TO THE BOOK OF SECOND TIMOTY: 4 Vs 17, IN ACT: 5 Vs 42, BY THE UNDERSTANDING IN 1st CORINTHIANS 15 Vs 58, AND IN BELIVE OF THE BOOK OF ISAIAH: 61 Vs 1.

This is johnny ramesh, film maker. I am a Gospel film maker and I have written and directed four tamil christian films. In South India, its very hard to find out a producer for producing christian films. I am interested in sending my film for the festival but I cant afford to pay the entry fees. Is there any entry fee vaiver facility to the film makers who struggle like me. kindly inform
