DEFINING BOTH THE "ANOINTING" AND "THE PROPHETIC

Here is another definition of anointing by a marketplace minister - a wise man

The young man came to the wise man and ask him WHAT is anointing?

The wise man answers:
Do you see that bird  in the tree singing to give God the glory. That is not annointing.
Do you see that cow grazing in the field. That is not anointing.
BUT when you see that cow sit in the tree and sing like a bird- THAT is anointing!

"Faith makes things possible, not easy"   

There once was a man who had nothing for his family to eat.

He had an old shotgun and three bullets.

So, he decided that he would go out and kill something for dinner.

As he went down the road, he saw a rabbit and he shot at the rabbit and missed it.

 

Then he saw a squirrel and fired a shot at the squirrel and missed it.

As he went further, he saw a wild turkey in the tree and he had only one

bullet, but a voice came to him and said "pray first, aim high and stay focused."

 

However, at the same time, he saw deer which was a better kill.

 

He brought the gun down and aimed at the deer!

But, then he saw a rattlesnake between his legs about to bite him,

so he naturally brought the gun down further to shoot the rattle snake.

 

Still, the voice said again to him, "I said 'pray, aim high and stay focused."

So, the man decided to listen to the voice.

He prayed, then aimed the gun high up in the tree and shot the wild turkey.

 

The bullet bounced off the turkey and killed the deer.

The handle fell off the gun and hit the snake in the head and killed it.

And, when the gun had gone off, it knocked him into a pond.

When he stood to look around, he had fish in all his pockets, a dead deer

and a turkey  to eat.

 

The snake (Satan) was dead simply because the man listened to God.

 

Moral of the story:

Pray first before you do anything,

aim and shoot high in your goals, and stay focused on God.

 

Never let others discourage you concerning your past.

The past is exactly that "the past."

 

Live every day one day at a time and remember that only God knows our

future and that he will not put you through any more than you can bear.

 

Do not look to man for your blessings but look to the doors

for you that only He is able to do. Doors that you will not slip through but doors

that only He has prepared in advance for you in your favour.

 

Wait, be still and patient: keep God first and everything else will follow.

Could you please send me more info on the Wild Ox anointing and the Horn. I have had dreams of an ancient horn. And my Pastor prayed for the Wild Ox anointing. Would like more info please!!

All Praises to God our Father, Jesus the Son and and the Holy Spirit!!!!!!!!

I have never anointed anything before  and frankly I did not believe in the power. I thought it was symbolic only. I believe this is part of a very powerfull process of learning lead by God. Somany miracles have happened to my family in the last few months due to the power of prayer, I just can not leave it to chance.

Now before I tell my story I need to say there is a difference in 'believing' in God and truly believing and giving your all to God. I never knew just how much God loves us until lately, He is so patient and forgiving it is so difficult for a mere mortal to discribe. Even now, after going through this whole process of God leading me; yes little old me, who is a mother and a wife and not much more, I still doubt in Him briefly. Thinking this is too good to be true, how can all this be true? But this is just how evil in this world works, they know how weak we are waiting for the slightest sign of weakness to pounce. God is so amazing and loving He forgives us every singel time we truly have remorse and embraces us. Every time, with out a doubt I started thinking like this, God smacks me with yet another miracle. I say smack because it hurts knowing how small my faith really is.

Last night after having somany nights of restless sleep for all of us, due to nightmares. The most horrifying nightmares. Putting up with tantrems every night before bed and throught out the day. (I have a 2 year old) I was feeling so hopeless seeing my child so unhappy all the time. I prayed and asked God to reveal the problem to me. I removed things that I believe could be ungodly a while ago as part of my home cleansing process, but I needed to secure the room. I believe God wanted me to annoint the room to secure it against evil. Now if you think I am totally NUTS, no worries, I thought so too, but I needed to do something.

 I grabbed a bottle of oil from the kitchen once both babies were sleeping and annointed all the doors and windows in the room, top sides and bottom. After this I rebuked all demons, evil spirits and things with evil intent out loud in the name of Jesus Christ, you dont have to shout they have good hearing even though they have existed for many years. And then I prayed asking the Lord to keep us safe and give us a peacefull nights rest.

Well we all woke up rested, with no nighmares even my hubby who is an insomniac. I woke up with praises for God in my heart and have been singing all morning. And the biggest miracle of all, we have had no tantrums all day not even going for an after noon nap, which is normally our worst time.

That book is wonderfull. I have Stormies 3 in 1 collection Praying book which contains the praying wife/parent/women. I am currently still busy with the praying wife. I was having problems with our little boy and the nightmares when something told me to skip to the praying parent one and I read the chapter about her own little 11 year old boy having nightmares and that annointing the room helped. That is what gave me the urged to anoint the room. At that stage I thought it was plane curiosity that made me read the chapter but now looking back it must have been the Holy Spirit moving in me.

 I think it is definately a book for everyparent to read. There is defenately a very calm motherly sense around her writing.

Recently I was at a conference. When the prophet begin to minister a prophetic word, I begin to feel a very strong stirring (a feeling of throwing up)in my belly. I was also feeling very weak. Later God brought back to my attention that I have felt like this several time before when a word have gone forth. My question is...was this my experience of a true prophecy or a false word.

My Question please

1.  I have the gift of prophetic counsellor with the discernment of spirits.  Please advise how do I pray.  I would sit in front of a person and suddenly I would see another person looking back at me.  It can be only the face (head) or also the persons whole body.  What does discernment of spirits mean? What type of prayers do I do for the person?  Are these people I see ancestoral spirits, graveyard spirits (what?). I usually pray against witchcraft spirts and have them denounce any attachments to witchcraft and other.   Please can you advise me.

2.  I also noticed that my eyes twitch alot.  When this happens there usually is something that is going to happen negatively (this is what I have begun to think.  Sometimes both eyes twitch and then sometimes just one.  I usually pray that the Lord should turn whatever has been set out for bad and turn it to good.  Please advise what this twitching could mean.  Am I correct?

I am a counselor in the field of healing and deliverance.  God also uses me prophetically and with discernment of spirits in counseling situations. Discernment of spirits is a gift where the Holy Spirit reveals to your spirit if the person you are dealing with have an evil spirit (demon) influencing his/her life. E.g. a spirit of fear, a spirit of perversion, a spirit of rejection, etc.  You would also be able to walk into a room and sense in the spirit that there are a presence of evil spirits.  God did not intend for us to see into the spirit world. If you can see an evil spirit it means that either by your own involvement or the involvement of your family in the occult or freemasonry, your third eye (also known as the all seeing eye) has been opened.  I speak of experience, because I could see other spirits from a very early age, before the Lord intervened (and closed this third eye)  I would suggest that you seek more equipping in these areas and be very careful on what which spirits you pray against. The eye twitching could be a reaction to what you are dealing with.  I can contact you personally on your cell and give you more detail if you are comfortable with that. 

Lately Ive had an unsettlement in my spirit about worship. Im not satisfied. I think there's more to it. I feel "shallow", I feel trapped. Like there's more.  I started googling PROPHETIC WORSHIP because for some reason when I think about that I feel that is the direction.  But HOW do I tap into it? How do I make the people in our worship team understand, hunger & desire for this? How do I explain the difference?  How do I tap into it?

PLEASE email me and advise. Im almost desperate because I believe this is the key to breaking through in worship.  Im so tired of just singing and just allowing a bag of emotions to overwhelm and leave myself and people unchanged. I believe prophetic worship is the key or answer. PLEASE respond.

IS THERE ANY BODY THAT CAN ASSIST ME? MY WIFE WERE ON A LADIES CAMP AND THEY SENT HER A CD WITH PROPHETIC WORD ON BUT NEITHER OF US KNOWS HOW TO UNDERSTAND IT.

I need help understanding what could be going on with me. 

In recent past I have had revelation in which I feel closer to God with the joining of me and the Holy Spirit.  It feels like a cross over of sorts in which I feel completely free from past bondage and a healing of my heart.  In the process of this, God has given me several dreams and few visions, only during the night with many many songs and prayers that happen throughout the night.  This wakes me up almost every night and most of the time involves scripture that I have not ever read before or heard of.  I have only told my husband and a very dear friend about it in fear of response of others.  I often wonder if God will stop blessing me this way and I yearn for Him to do this all the time.  I try to discern what the messages mean, and my friend has helped me alot.  I meditate on the things he has given me and feel so special and blessed.  I have asked Him to use me and fill me every day. 

I also must mention that when I was a small child, me and two others friends were playing and an indian appeared in front of us.  We were terrified and ran away, but he was very real and I believe he could have been an angel, not sure.  His presence has haunted me my whole life.  One of those children passed away later in life.

Also God is giving me the message that my nephew is to be annointed by a body of Christ (people of his church) by praying over him while he is kneeling.  I prayed for my nephew to be convicted by the Spirit during a fast and I immediately got the message that something bad had to happen before this would take place.  I closed my eyes and used my hands to wipe away this thought and said "Please Lord not that, not anything bad, please" and tried to ignore it hoping it was just a thought of my own. Two days later his wife had a stroke and almost died.  Two days after that my nephew had his conviction!  Now his wife is doing much better and the prognosis is good.  God is giving me direction in this and I am having difficulty passing on the info to my nephew.  He is a baby Christian and doesn't understand what is going on with me, and quite frankly I am not sure either.  Please help.  How can I get more understanding to what God is doing here with me?

Late last year I prayed and  asked the Lord to show me the inner me, that only He knows.
I did this as I read and meditated on Psalms 139 : 23 & 24. After quite some time, the Lord allowed me to look right into the very core of my being.

It was like an ocean and there in front of me was some kind of a leather bag which was zipped shut. There was a something inside and it was moving. I asked the Lord to open it. The bag was opened and out came a baby turtle as it swam out into the open sea.

Could someone shed some light on this.This took place during my Bible Reading sessions from 11:00 A.M to 1 P.M. Thank you !

Interpreting Visions

When you receive visions from The Lord, He will normaly use symbols that are from your environment or that has a particular meaning to you or maybe that can be looked up in The Bible or other books available in your home. It may for example point to an idiomatic expression. If you get regular visions you may be very surprised to see how The Lord starts using the symbols in a new book the day after you bought it.

To illustrate the point, let's take the example of a tortoise or turtle. To one person it may represent being slow or shy but to another it may represent someone that discerns the seasons of God or someone who is always on the move or going places.

The important thing is to think about what the symbol means to you personally, based on your own frame of reference and personal exposure. Further to that think about the object you see and consider its characteristics and uses which will point to what The Lord is saying.
If all else fails then get a Christian book such as a dream dictionary or prophetic dictionary but remember these books provide guidelines only and it is important to let The Holy Spirit guide you.

Make sure that the book you use considers the biblical meaning of the symbol as first and foremost and that scriptural references are provided for each explanation.

Again it is important to let The Holy Spirit guide you. Most Christain books will for example tell you that the Sea represent nations or people groups. (Is 60:5, Rev 17:15). But if you look at the story of Moses then the sea can be a symbol that you have reached a barier or boundry but that The Lord will make a way for you.

In the same manner baby animals could represent inexperience. A baby eagle could be a symbol of a prophet in training but a kitten or a baby turtle may be cute to you and could represent innosence for example.

Don't allow your emotions to interfere in the process because misinterpretations will only lead to frustration. If you don't get it right then ask The Lord for wisdom and understanding. He is faithful and will give it but sometimes He wants us to ask first.

Finally here's a story about visions that we can all learn from:

A woman is about to meet with a man that The Lord is sending to her. The woman looks around her and sees a watch and prays the following: "Lord if you are sending this man to me then please let him say something about a watch."
The Lord hears her prayer and gives this man a vision of how this woman borrows a watch from him. The man does not consider the vision properly and doesn't ask The Lord what to do with it. He jumps to conclusions and when he gets to the woman he says "The Lord showed me that you are living on borrowed time" - implying that she will die soon.

All he had to do was say: "The Lord gave me a vision that you are borrowing a watch from me."

It is clear from this story that a lot of heartache, pain and misunderstanding can be avoided if we try to make sure that we don't react presumptously to visions received - specially if we are still inexperienced and in the early days of our walk with The Lord.

Please accept my apology for not answering your question.  I delayed my response at the time in order to wait on the Lord for any special revelation that He may wish to give.  This unfortunately never came and thus I have no concrete answer for you.

 

From my experience it is really difficult if not impossible to answer this kind of question without a proper counselling session.  The risk of incorrect identification of the problem based on inadequate background information is simply too high and the only alternative is specific knowledge and wisdom received from the Lord on the matter – which in this case didn’t happen.

 

There are some things that we don’t need the answers too and the Lord will decide the necessity of supplying an answer and the timing of the answer.

 

My advice at this point is that you seek the Lord in prayer on this matter if you feel that it is critical for you to understand it.

 

Many, many things happen in the spiritual realm and the tiny bit that the Lord reveals to us is enough for us to operate with since we operate on faith and on the guidance from the Bible.

 

I would like to leave you with this scripture:

Serving the Watchmen

 

 

   

I was first baptised in the christian church about 40yrs ago, after which I bounced in and out of churches and some level of faith for the next 5 or 6 years at this time I became very involved in a penicostal church and had my first experiances with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. After a few months I became involved in a family bussiness that required that I move back to my home town at this point I left the faith and spent the next 30+yrs deeply involved in the meth world. Just over 2 months ago after having attending a few weeks attending services at a General Assembly/ (Name edited out)..., n the Lord finally got through to me and I was rebaptised and have given everything to the Lord. I have been blessed more than I ever could have expected to be, my concern is that at times things seem to be moving so fast that I sometimes find myself wondering if I am truely lead by the Holy Spirit when I am lead to read Sciptures or to stand and tell about things that the Lord is doing in my life. I don't know that I have question as this is an example of what I'm talking about feeling that i have been lead by the Holy Spirit. Gods Blessings
